Christy played a memorable gig in Ryston last night
He said that he had played in fancy halls and operas houses and theatres all over the place, but there is "no hall like home hall". Christy was accompanied by Declan Sinnott of moving hearts fame.

The proceeds of the gig went to McGaragle house on Eyre Str.

He recalled nights down by the strand with his mates back in the day. His first band was with the Lunny brothers. They called themselves the 'Liffeysiders'. His first music lesson was from Sister Michael when was going to the nuns.
He played ballads reminding us of the forgotten and the wronged and he had the place jumping with his lively stuff. It was a special night.
