Newbridge Concerned Residents Association (NCRA)

The "Concerned Newbridge Residents Assoc"., an action group who came together as a spin off from the meeting in the Keadeen Hotel on 16th Feb. NCRA have been in contact with Primary and Post Primary schools throughout the town. NCRA have been making themselves known and asking schools to encourage their students to write their reasons why they want the cinema in the Whitewater complex.
One of the members of the assoc, has got signs made up and erected them at all the entrance routes to the town informing people of the protest march taking place of Sat next Feb 25th. NCRA have made up posters which we have distributed to any retail outlet in the town that will accept and display same, and theyhave petition forms throughout the town urging people to sign same and get them to us on Sat Morning 25 feb to be handed in to Whitewater after the march.
NCRA are getting flags and placards made up to be handed out at the march, and we are in the process of negotiating with the media for coverage.
