Yes, Whitewater are appealling to An Bórd Pleanála, following the Council's recent decision to refuse permission to change the cinema from its current site within the Shopping Centre.

NCR has welcomed Kildare County Council’s decision last week to turn down Whitewater’s request to turn the current cinema space into shops and a crèche. Whitewater has until 18th September to appeal the decision to An Bórd Pleanala. Several local politicians have called on the company not to appeal the decision and to complete the cinema at its current location.
